What to pack for our Mexican vacation

 Don't forget these things -

Sun protection - The sun at the beach can be hot!  It's important to protect your skin.  It is recommended that you wear UV shirts/swimsuits when possible and use sunblock.

Beach hats - Protecting your head and face with a beach hat is both necessary and can be stylish.

Swimsuits/beach shirts - A great way to protect your skin, especially while snorkeling, kayaking, or paddleboarding, is to get a UV-blocking swimsuit or swim shirt.

Beach dress or a nice beach shirt for those evenings on the town or for sitting at the resort for a fancy supper.

Beach towel - You don't want to take your hotel towel down to the beach to get all sandy.  These are also great for leaving on our shun chair so no one takes your spot!

Remember your cell phone cords and cameras!  Too many pretty pictures that you will want to share with everyone!

Don't forget your flip-flops and water shoes!!

Playa Del Carmen

Playa Del Carmen - The Heart of the Riviera Maya

Playa del Carm, located on the Riviera Maya, sits in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean and features an impressive 75 miles of stunning, sandy shoreline.

There is plenty of fun things to do in Playa del Carmen and its surroundings for nature and adventure lovers, from birdwatching to ATV tours and ziplining through the Mayan jungle at adventure parks.

Explore the cenotes (sinkholes) while tour snorkeling diving or swimming in the underground caves. Most of the larger beachfront hotels offer snorkel and boat tours, as well as paddleboards and kayaks.

Cozumel

 Cozumel

The island of Cozumel is located just off the east coast of Mexioc's Yucatan Peninsula and is directly across the water from Playa Del Carmen and about an hour and a half from the Cancun airport.

Located on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, Cozumel is an incredible spot for Turquoise Caribbean water, white sand beaches, and world-class diving and snorkeling.  Island Life!

Let's go diving!  Cozumel is world-renowned for its scuba diving and proximity to numerous top dive sites.  The Mesoamerican reef system is the second-largest reef system in the world, and there is extensive coral and sea life with incredible visibility.

We can take a tour with a local!  Take your vacation in Cozumel to the next level by taking a tour with a local.  There is nothing quite like getting an insider experience with people who live here and love all that the island has to offer.  Take a jeep tour to take you on a jungle off-road visit to caves, trails and even a cenote where you can take a swim.

Everyone loves to shop for souvenirs.  With dozens of shops ranging from high-end silver to beach bag vendors and everything else in between.
